Try this out for the first time. Must say I am very pleased! The service was really friendly, the food was great! I believe I have found my new favorite Mexican fix!! The prices are reasonable, the amount of food was very filling. I tried a little of everyone's dish, lol just to see in for my next trip here! Everything was delicious! If you haven't tried it, you need to! :-)

We were looking for a great Mexican restaurant and were getting discouraged until we found Cinco de Mayo. They are fantastic. The food is awesome and the service is on par. Always fresh chips and salsa and steaming hot food. I have tried several items from their menu and have not been disappointed.

We have dined here 3 times now. The service is incredibly friendly but not the star of this restaurant . Waiter forgot our queso , and it took about an hour to get our food, but worth the wait. The pollo adobo was fabulous as is their guacamole . I've also had their arroz con pollo. While not traditional, so delicious. My husband loves their tacos and enchiladas. The boys highly recommend the fajitas and burritos. I lived in arizona for 8 years, and the husband Is from Southern California , so I've had a lot of great Mexican, and this is one of the best I ever had. Despite the service issues, I'll go back again and again. Oh, and although I am not a drinker the margaritas were given a thumbs up too. I'm so happy to have found such great Mexican food in jensen beach.

We had the Taquitos for an appetizer and had to share a plate of Carne Asada because the plate was so huge. They were both outrageously delicious. Even w/sharing a plate we came out of there stuffed. The waitress, Marta was very attentive and super nice. The place was spotless and no weird smells like you'd find at some restaurants. The chips and salsa were fresh. Definitely going back.

Cinco De Mayo is a welcome addition to Jensen Beach, filling the dearth of quality Mexican restaurants in the area. The portions are generous and the food is delicious. The guac is made to order and while the chips aren't homemade they are warmed which is a nice touch.

A decent Mexican restaurant located in a strip mall because Florida. The fish tacos were a touch on the crunchy side. The guacamole and salsa are ON POINT. The best salsa I've had in a while. Also the cheese quesadilla is great! A ton of cheese and more of that boss guacamole. The staff is extremely good and by the way they bring you giant margaritas if you ask them. If you're ever in Stuart Florida visiting Nana or paying your brother's bail bond (the only two reasons to visit Florida) stop in.

My husband and I are regulars at another Mexican restaurant. We decided to try something different and came here. I have to say, we were pleasantly surprised. Our meals were both delicious and up until it was about time for us to go, the service was great. I would've given them five stars if our waitress had not disappeared on us when we were ready to go. We were stuck there for an extra 10-15 minutes, probably, waiting to get that check but that would be my only complaint! Needless to say, we will definitely be coming back for a second round!

Staying at Jenson Beach Inn & this is walking distance (less than 2 min in heels) from the hotel. Chips & salsa are fantastic, very fresh, margaritas are great. I'm more than impressed with the wait staff not only are they on top of everything they are so nice & accommodating. My husband had the carne asada & he thought it was exactly as it should be seasoned & cooked - he was thrilled. I had a combo of the enchilada chipotle & a chimichanga both were great. The chimichanga looked so plain when it came out but when I added salsa & the refried beans it was heavenly. Great dining experience. I would highly recommend.

Family of 4 dining on a Monday evening. First time visiting. This place is located in a strip mall, yes, but it is wonderfully decorated and quite large. Music is good and at an appropriate level which allows conversation. Food was very good and the prices were fantastic. Have spent almost twice the amount at other Mexican restaurants and portions may possibly be larger here regarding the quesadilla and burrito. Seating is placed so that customers are not on top of each other. Booths have high backs. Tables are not close together and have very uniquely made chairs. Place was pretty full but not noisy. Service was great. Margaritas were large. Great beer specials. We will definitely be back. Will recommend to family and friends.

Dined there 4 March 15. This was my second visit. Not sure if the one waiter was just overloaded or didn't give a rats but I wasn't happy with his service. Took order, got drink, and I saw him when I got a check. I wanted another beverage and some additional salsa, but unless I was to get up and get it, it wasn't happening last night. Food good, but service is half of the dining experience. And the place wasn't crowded. May or may not try them again. At least Chilpote's has real pork Carnitas!

Went there with my wife ordered a carnet Asada quesadilla as an appetizer that was excellent it came out within minutes hot and fresh not at all greasy or spicy with fresh guacamole and sour cream on the side. For dinner I had a margarita and a carnet Asada burrito with rice and beans for aside everything was excellent I will ordered Mexican food from Mexico Cancun Texas California Nevada and this was an authentic Mexican restaurant.. Everything was delicious including the fried ice cream I would recommend this place to family and friends.

Their burritos are excellent portions for lunch. I like a lot of what they make. My main issue with this restaurant though is the tortilla chips. They don't taste like they were made in house they taste like a bagged chip. The salsa is often lacking in flavor that comes with the chips. However, there is alot to be said for their beans. They are delicious! All in all, it's worth it to eat there prices are good and the food is good. May even be better at night I haven't been there but for lunch!

Excellent authentic Mexican cuisine! Great service from Antonio! We had the Chicken chimichanga and it was done to perfection! There must have been 1/2# of shredded chicken-and this was the lunch special. It came with re fried beans with cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and sour cream. I don't need to eat for the rest of the day!!! We also had the combination Taco and Enchilada. The taco was crispy and had a generous portion of beef. The enchilada was wonderful-ALOT of flavorful chicken. Ok, so clearly we were hungry...we also had queso dip! AMAZING!!

I'm not a huge fan of Mexican food as everything I've had around here tends to surround itself in grease or puddle in sauce, but not Cinco de Mayo! I could eat here everyday! The food is fresh and every time I've eaten there (total 3 times so far) my meals have been delicious! I've made sure to have something new every time (unlike my boyfriend who orders enchiladas divorciadas every time). The fresh chips and salsa at the table is another huge plus for this place! It's great salsa!! Highly recommend this restaurant for some fresh cooked Mexican food and a really beautiful place too! The carved wooden tables, booths, and chairs are so unique and gorgeous!

Mexican is my favorite food, and we live in Atlanta. There are lots of Tex Mex places in Atlanta, and I like Tex Mex. But THIS IS A FEW STEPS ABOVE and beyond. The salsa is so fresh and delicious. Our waiter was over the top friendly and helpful with the complicated menu. There are MANY seafood dishes. The margaritas, seafood dish, and guacamole were all A+ We cook fresh food at home quite a bit, but if every restaurant was like this, we might never cook again! We were finishing up after closing and the cooks started singing enthusiastically. This place has a "special culture" that makes it amazing.

We went for lunch and had the beef tacos. Tacos we okay nothing special. Rice was dry and the Margaritas were good. Chicken fajitas were fine. The waiter forgot my 2 year old nieces food and we had to wait another 10 minutes after we got our food. But the chicken fingers were really good.

The staff is very friendly. Service was excellent. The food was very good. My only complaint is that they don't have ala carte items. The house margarita was delicious, but not served with a lime wedge. The salsa was tasty and the chips were fresh. I will definitely go back.

We had a great authentic meal with children ages 5,12 and 15. Food and service was excellent and the restaurant was very clean. The fajitas were especially good. For those who may be in your party that do not like mexican food there are only a couple of menu choices. Moderately expensive.

I can finally say there is a good Mexican food restaurant in Florida. The service is outstanding.The beans are vegetarian so if you are avoiding pork or are a vegetarian this is a big plus. I had the Enchiladas Divorciadas. This dish consisted of three different enchiladas, a cheese enchilada in a cream sauce, a beef enchilada in a green sauce and a chicken enchilada in a red chipolte sauce. All three enchilada tasted great. The meal came with rice and beans and a garnish of lettuce, tomatoes, cheese and sour cream. Loved it! My husband had a combination plate with a chile rellano, picadillo burrito and a cheese enchilada. My husband enjoyed his meal and agrees that this is the best Mexican food restaurant he has eaten at anywhere in Florida. The prices are reasonable and the ambiance is nice. This restaurant is getting outstanding reviews for a reason. Definitely worth a visit.

Great service and food! This was our 1st visit and was one of the best mexican restaurants we have been too. Great addition to Jensen Beach! We had the table side guacamole to start...AMAZING!!! We both ordered burritos, my other half had one with steak and it was marinated to perfection. I had a burrito with their special cheese sauce and ground beef, it was good not great. We rarely leave 20% tips but we definitely did tonight. We definitely will be back and we highly recommend this place!

We were very pleased with both the food and the service. I'm from California where excellent Mexican food is very common; Not so much here in Florida. This place has a huge selection of entrées; the ones we had were delicious. Salsa is great/ chips not too salty. Everything had a fresh taste and though we ate too much( it was so good) we didn't feel yucky. Prices reasonable. Highly recommended, we will return.

My husband and I had dinner here last Friday night. The restaurant itself is beautifully done in bright colors. The booths and chairs are all new and comfortable and the service was perfect. We have eaten in all the Mexican restaurants near Stuart over our 2 years in town and this place is definitely at the top of our list. We had the Loco Burrito and the Fajita Burrito. The flavors were distinct, the veggies were all fresh and slightly crunchy, as opposed to overcooked and soggy and their ranchero sauce was delicious. We could not have asked for a better-tasting, more pleasant meal. Also, if you want a spicier salsa for dipping their fresh, warm chips, they are more than happy to accommodate. This will be our go-to place for great Mexican food and service from now on!
